As part of its memorandum of agreement with the FBI Pittsburgh field office, the FBI Pittsburgh Citizens Academy Alumni Association, while separate and apart from the FBI, works to host and collaborate on events aligned to the priorities of the FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association, FBI Headquarters, and the FBI Pittsburgh field office. Learn more about the FBI Pittsburgh Community Outreach programs here and be sure to check the below event calendars for upcoming opportunities to engage with the community.

On April 18, 2024, the FBI Pittsburgh CAAA had a tour, went inside an ambulance and completed a Stop the Bleed class (based on military training) at the McCandless - Franklin Park Ambulance Authority, Wexford, PA. The hours of training, the lifesaving equipment and the community-based programs to keep us safe was a great lesson for all of us. We thank all EMS Teams for their service to our communities. We have a new appreciation for your work.

The FBI Pittsburgh CAAA Members and guests had a very informative, educational and emotional tour of Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA on October 4, 2022. Special thanks to author Tom McMillan who gave us a unique tour of the site. He wrote: Flight 93: The Story, The Aftermath and The Legacy of American Courage on 9/11.
